Biography

Mahwish Batool Kaifi is a senior human-resources and administration professional based in Dubai, with approximately 14 years of experience across Pakistan's public sector and the UAE's private sector. Her work spans recruitment, employee relations, workforce administration, government policy implementation, budgets and women's development. Her organisation field uses her preferred sector description rather than naming her employer.

She served for more than nine years as Manager and Drawing and Disbursing Officer in the Women Development Department, Government of Punjab. Her responsibilities included staff and facility administration, financial controls, programme coordination and stakeholder engagement. She has worked in HR in Dubai since January 2024.

She holds an MPhil in Sociology from the University of the Punjab and is pursuing CIPD Level 7 study. Her wider experience includes university guest lecturing, volunteer engagement with the Pakistan Red Crescent Society and a part-time UAE country-director role with the Pakistan International Human Rights Organization.

Mahwish also writes Urdu prose and poetry and contributes to public discussion on social and human-development issues. Her Urdu book Mein Ko Mann Ki Khabar Na Koi and two articles on artificial intelligence are in the publication process, rather than presented as already published.
