Biography

Shafia Rafique is an educationist, author, educational consultant, parenting and childcare coach, and early childhood education specialist based in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. She is the Founder and Principal of Little Fellow Daycare Preschool and Primary and founder of United Ammies, a community initiative promoting positive parenting, family awareness, women’s empowerment, education, and skill development. With extensive experience in early childhood development, educational leadership, teacher training, and daycare management solutions, she has trained teachers and caregivers across Pakistan and developed professional training modules to strengthen early learning and childcare practices. In 2018, Little Fellow Daycare Preschool and Primary received the Best Pre-School of the Year Award from International School Awards, Dubai.

Key achievements

• Co-author of Pakistan’s Single National Curriculum Pre-Primary Books (2020), published by the Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board, Lahore: Pre-1 English Primer, Pre-1 Urdu Primer and Pre-1 Mathematics Primer.
• Developed a Parenting Manual for the Pakistan Alliance for Early Childhood (2023).
• Developed an Early Learning, Stimulation and Nurturing Care Manual for Rupani Foundation (2018).
• Developed ECCE leadership and teacher and caregiver training modules for the Program Monitoring and Implementation Unit (PMIU), Government of Punjab (2024), supporting professional development across 11 districts of South Punjab.
• Founder of United Ammies; Founder and Principal of Little Fellow Daycare Preschool and Primary.
• Little Fellow Daycare Preschool and Primary received the Best Pre-School of the Year Award from International School Awards, Dubai (2018).
